Hyundai Elantra Interior Revealed, Goes Upmarket

Hyundai is working on a brand new version of the Elantra sedan that AOS due to go on sale later this year as a 2011 model, and we Äôve already seen a number of occasions testing a prototype, but so far, aos always heavily disguised. Now we have our first clear view of the interior of the new Elantra, which today unveiled by Hyundai (note that the images of the South Korean model depicting spec).

American versions should be very similar, and hopefully the large LCD screen and stylish piano black finish will also be available on local models. The new car should also get puddle lamps mounted in the doors and even the chance that AOS heated leather seats may be an option.

In general, there is a more decisive upmarket look and feel of the car, with many influences from the interior of the Hyundai Sonata 2011 transfer.

Not much else is known about the upcoming 2011 Hyundai Elantra, although he thought the car aos AOS will be slightly longer wheelbase than the current model. Important details include a sloping, coupe-like profile, tapered back headlights and a square body. Prototypes of the car have been spotted testing in both South Korea and the U.S., often next to rival models like the Honda Civic and the Kia Forte.

Power is expected to come from Hyundai, aos latest 2.4-liter direct-injection four-cylinder engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. A smaller 1.6-liter unit is also available.
